If you watched the season finale of The Celebrity Apprentice the other day, you may have noticed some things. Maybe you didn’t want to know all of them…

1. Nice guys don’t finish last. Just second-place.

   Trace is awesome, right? So are Tito and all those cool guys. But they all lost. Trump called them “special” and kicked them to the curb.

2. Mean isn’t always evil. It just seems that way.

   Yeah, that Piers fellow. Total jerk! Same with Trump. But they have lots to donate to charity, so they can’t be all bad, right?

3. If you’re an eccentric billionaire, you’re allowed to name your kid something weird, and it sounds cool.

   Ivanka Trump. Isn’t that the neatest name? Actually come to think of it, whatever ancestor picked the name Trump had a weird sense of humor. Or was it a clever marketing ploy?

4. Catholics think they’re Christians too.

   Honestly, they do! Even though they confess to priests and pray to statues. All that stuff real Christians know as paganism.

5. It pays to have friends in high places. Particularly if you can get them a little drunk.

   Imagine being friends with Simon Whatsisname. Golly. And that trader guy who lost his staff and kid in 911. Pierce is a privileged man.

6. Country folk are poor folk.

   Hard work and persistence (plus beer and pickup trucks) don’t always pay as well as clever marketing and slick performance, not to mention sheer britishness.

7. Allergies kill kids. And when soldiers lose limbs, they don’t grow back.

   These are the dumbest of all, aren’t they? A little more nano and we will cure this stuff. Prosthetics are so 20th-century! Hopefully the millions (billions?) raked in by that show are going to help towards that goal.
