I Quit Blogging Forever! $10k In A Week Is Just Plain Crazy!

You sit around and write long posts with no real purpose, trying to make money. Well I’m fed up with it. You can’t make money blogging. The big guys have already taken the market share. Nobody’s interested in what I have to say.
Making 10k per week is a sham. Bilge! Who makes that kind of money? John Cow, er, John CHOW doesn’t even make that kind of money! You can’t ever make 10k blogging. In fact, unless you’re born with some kind of special mutant super-power — or a huge inheritance — you can’t make 10k in a week. It’s just not possible.
Money making online is a clogged toilet. You heard me. It’s a filthy and disgusting mess. Everyone brags about how much money they make, and it just makes me sick. I can’t do it, you can’t do it, and we all suck.
So I’m quitting blogging for money. No more problogging for me. I’ll just go out and get a job, then post a bunch of stupid crap about nanotech and worms. Oh yeah. By the way, nobody cares about nanotech or red worms. They’re just a big waste of time.
Furthermore, I’m tired of this positive thinking garbage. It never works, and anyone who tries it is stupid. I am stupid for trying it. In fact, instead of quitting the blog, from now on I’m gonna make this is a RANT BLOG. I’m even gonna start cussing! Take that, ya D*** M************s!

Hey I just came upon your blog and I find it a very interesting and fun blog. BUT you did have there for a minute……I am new to blogging I havn’t even started a blog yet but trying to get all my eggs in one basket. You know how that goes? Or maybe not. I really have no experience w/any kind of computer tech. knowledge so I’m kinda scared to get going, not sure how to get the ads and the banners and all of that stuff onto the page. But anyways I wanted to start a blog to try to make a little extra income, I’m on a very fixed low income so I thought this would help…..until I read your title which made my stomach do a flip flop……so I’m glad it was Aprils Fool,,,,thanks I will certainly be back to your blog.

Welcome, jessejojames! I totally understand about getting your eggs in one basket… I had the hardest time starting this, and perfectionism is driving me crazy about all the things I could be doing better — but I’m still here. No way am I gonna quit blogging, it’s too addicting!
If you ever need help on the technical end, let me know! You need a site first, then you can get Google Adsense going on it pretty easily. I took that down because I don’t have much traffic yet — once I’ve got a lot of traffic I will definitely put up some friendly ads.

I do agree, its not possible to make 10k a week blogging. Though it can make a lot of extra pocket money if your blog has a good rank for highly competitive keyphrases!
