There are several advantages to being, well, imperfect. It’s quite a powerful thing really, and it’s the only way to get things done. Here’s are some of some of it’s innumerable advantages.

  1. Everybody’s doing it. You can’t find anyone these days who’s not being un-perfect. So by not being perfect you are participating in a vast community of at least 6 billion people.

  2. It gets results. You can make lots of money while not being perfect. I don’t know of anyone who made a fortune who wasn’t doing it at the time. Oddly enough, that’s how fortunes are made

  3. It’s easy. So easy in fact that you can do it right now. Just go out and do something — anything. Chances are it won’t be perfect, and you will reap the rewards depending on how hard you tried and how many people you helped.

  4. You won’t die from it. In fact, not being perfect won’t kill you. Certain imperfections (such as the aging process) can in fact increase your chance of dying, but by and large most forms of not being perfect will, at worst, get you laughed at.

  5. You can learn from it. Not being perfect is the single greatest source of inspiration for all human learning and achievement.

So why not give it a try today, if you have not already done so? It’s simple, it’s easy, and it’s free. Be human, be imperfect. Be yourself.

I like being inperfect. In my opinion, there is no such thing as a perfect.

  2. Luke says:

Absolutely. And that’s “imperfect” not “inperfect”.

I’m such a hypocrite where spelling is concerned. :-P

    Thanks for the comment, Rose!

    Thanks for the correction. ;-)

    Hi Luke,

You raise a good point. What’s that old saying? … “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.”

Just get out there and do it … nothing is ever truly perfect.

    Todd

That’s a great saying. Thanks, Todd!
