It has been over a week since I started posting once-daily on this blog. It is a great feeling to know I am succeeding at this. I just thought I’d write this (a day in advance :-) ) to celebrate. I definitely have more ideas in store for articles that I would like to write. I just need to get enough time together and FOCUS.

My goal is to have a 30-day buffer created by next Wednesday. (As I write, it’s about 2:00 am Wednesday morning, so that gives me a week.) This is a nicely specific, achievable goal. All I need is to write about 5 articles per day for the next 7 days. This will generate 5 weeks worth, one week of which will have been used up. During this extra time, I will also be able to edit and preview them, something that generally adds considerable quality.

In this past week I have learned quite a bit about blogging. I have explored Socal Bookmarking (to some extent), and I have experimented with categories. I love how Wordpress plugins can add so much control over your content. I have set up my page to be nofollow-free where comments are concerned (provided you make 5 comments or more).

I have learned a bit about myself in the past week. What I want to blog about, what my aims and goals are. It feels good.

    Hi Luke,

This is the best way to go! Sit down for a few hours and type to your hearts content…

I’ve been doing this for sometime now as well and am always surprised when I talk to bloggers that don’t know about this! Usually I reply “no, I post every day - 2 to 3 times”. :-)

    Why share every little secret?

Ooops. I guess it isn’t a secret any longer.

    Take care,

    Mo

Well, to be honest it’s not that easy to write 5 posts at a stretch for me. I’m still way behind where I’d like to be! But it it certainly much better to be able to schedule them in advance.
